5 Plays or Comedies Happening in February 2025 in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico has a lot to offer when it comes to live shows in February, including concerts, but that's not all. Taking the stage are also accomplished and up-and-coming actors and comedians aiming to make audiences laugh, smile, and engage with their performances. Among the options available in the second half of February, are the following six plays or comedies.

1.Los Diarios Íntimos de Adán y Eva — Starting February 14

Entertainment veterans "Sunshine" Logroño and Johanna Rosaly play Adam and Eve in a story written by Ed. Weinberger and inspired by Mark Twain; through the show, the audience will be exposed to Adam and Eve's intimate diaries. The first show of a total of six, takes place on Valentine's Day. Please note that all of the shows will be held in the same venue: the Sala Experimental in the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce.

2.Magnolias de acero — Starting February 14

There will be six performances of 'Magnolias de acero', the first being on Valentine's Day, all taking place in the Sala René Marqués, Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce. According to TicketCenter, this comedy set in a beauty parlor was performed on stage before it inspired the award-winning movie Steel Magnolias. The cast is made up of Linnette Torres, Marian Pabón, Alfonsina Molinari, Cristina Soler, and more.

3.La Terapia-Stand Up Comedy — February 22

Monero Cafe Teatro & Bar is the location for the ninth session of La Terapia. As the names alludes to, this stand-up comedy event is centered around the cast sharing their thoughts and feelings, as if in therapy. Maurim Chiclana and Keropi Sánchez are some of the folks that'll be taking the mic.

4.Amor en 4 — February 22

This comedy, which touches upon things that happen to couples, is only for adults. The cast is made up of Miguel Morales and Carlos Vega, who also wrote the script, and Carmen Nydia and Naymed Calzada. Check them out at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Caguas.

5.Los Vecinos — Starting February 28

A total of five performances of this comedy about neighbors that live in the same building, will be held at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce, in the Sala René Marqués. Things get complicated when the neighbors witness a murder and decide to investigate. The cast includes familiar faces like René Monclova, Suzette Bacó, Jorge Castro, Marian Pabón and more.
